Well I think the editor of the Bay of Plenty Times said it the best in response to the prude groups up in arms about a nude beach event in their community. This lady has the most practical view of nudists I've ever seen for a non-nudist. Bravo!

Nudist event succeeds in New Zealand
Nudists from Bay of Plenty Club in New Zealand successfully pulled off an annual nude beach event recently despite controversy generated by a few prude groups.

Even though no one complained and police weren't called, the prude groups just won't let it go. Ya gotta hand it to them, they really want their viewpoints, no matter how influenced by by misinformation, to have the force of law.

Nudist event cause a stir in New Zealand
Well the citizens of Papamoa, New Zealand are up in arms about a nude beach event to occur near their neighborhood. The funny thing about it is the nude beach and nudists were there before the neighborhood was built up. Now all the Johnny-come-latelies think their view point should override that of the nudists who do no harm and come to enjoy a day at the beach.
