Boulder's topless war

Well the the war against the horrible nudists is still on in Boulder, CO.  Catherine Pierce, a friendly, normal lady is still under attack by the media around the world as well as some of her neighbors.  The reason?  She likes to garden topless.  And get this, it is totally legal in her city for her to be topless.  This doesn't stop the Pierce's from being harassed though.  People still get so pissed off at seeing a woman topless.  Unbelievable.

Skinny dip record protested

Well the folks in New Zealand are trying for the world skinny dip record this year on Dec. 1.  The record so far is 413 skinnydippers last year in the UK.  The fly in the buttermilk though is a guy by the name   Bob McCoskrie who is the national director of Family First NZ which I assume is a religious fundamentalist group much like those that plague us here in the U.S.  It's the same old objection.  What if there are children present?  My answer is: "So, what if there are children present?"  Do you suppose children don't know what the human body looks like?  Do you think they should never see the works of art like Venus de Milo or Michaelangelo's David?  Give me a break.

San Francisco to ban public nudity

Well it seemed too good to be true and it was.  San Francisco, a vibrant, interesting, and quirky sort of city has always taken a live and let live policy towards public nudity.  It isn't illegal for a person to be nude in public in the city currently but that is about to change because a city supervisor has introduced a proposal to ban public nudity in the city.  The nudity was confined mostly to the Castro District, a gay enclave inside the city, and the nudists were mostly men congregating in a public square.  No one was harming anyone but I guess that's not enough for some.
