Polish nudist introduces video with a twist

I have to admit I don't watch many music DVD's but this one sure caught my eye.  Polish star, "Margaret J" produced a video which should be the fantasy of every nudist family and it is funny too!  I begins by her parents asking her please not to embarrass her father at his birthday party.

Nude poet dinner?

Apparently the Scots aren't against all nudity, aka the Naked Rambler.  They're hosting a nude weekend along with the country's first nude Burns Supper.  The Burns Supper is in celebration of the Scottish poet Robert Burns' birthday.  I say any occasion is great for being nude together.

Nude Bowling comes to NYC

The Young Naturists of America have made an agreement with the chic midtown bowling alley, Frames, to host a private nude bowling event.  What is interesting is that they are getting more upscale establishments to accept nudists as guests.  While nude bowling is no new thing it just broadens the opportunity to allow new people to experience nudity in a social setting and have fun doing it.  New York City isn't exactly teeming with nudist resorts.

Nudists lose again

I love how local authorities and federal authorities alike tend to hide behind seemingly "reasonable" approaches to eventually wiping out nudity on public lands.  County authorities agreed to listen to nudists' land management plan for the confluence of the Willamette River’s coast and middle forks, which is used as a land bridge to access state-owned Glass Bar Island Park in Oregon.  This area has been used by nudists for years.  Instead they chose the plan proposed by a "conservationist" which involves flooding the nudist use area.  No trespassing signs have already gone up.

Naked Girls Reading

Well I don't know how this relates to the formal topic of nudism but I find it intriguing.  A group of women in Chicago formed a group, "Naked Girls Reading" in 2009.  Apparently they get naked and then take turns reading a novel aloud in a public place.  Sort of a cross between a book club and burlesque.  And it's gaining participants in other cities as well (Asheville, NC, Austin, Dallas, Honolulu, Los Angeles, London, Minneapolis, New Orleans, New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto, Vancouver, Portand, Victoria BC, and Washington, DC). If it gets nudity in a normal setting for both the participants and the public to be comfortable with it, I'm all for it.

Kiwi nudists take on police and firefighters

Yup, they're at it again.  Nudists, firefighters and police are toe to toe against each other in New Zealand.  Unfortunately the nudists of Pine Glades Naturist Club lost again.  They put up a good fight but the police and firefighters seem to win all the time, well at least in the last two past volleyball tournaments.

Vienna museum opens to nudists

The Leopold Museum in Vienna, Austria is opening its doors and it's Nude Men exhibit to nudists on the evening of February 18th.  Visitors will be allowed to tour the museum nude.  This not the first time this has been done but it does create an interesting perspective, viewing nude art in the nude.

Kiwis promote Hawks Bay Naturist Club

Our nudist friends down under are promoting the bare facts of going naked.  PR folks from Hawks Bay Naturist Club (Rapere) on the north island of New Zealand near Napier garnered a nice little piece in the Hawks Bay Today promoting their club.  My hat (and everything else) is off to you.

Polar Bare Plunge

Well it's that time of year again when normally conservative nudists all over the world jump into the nearest body of frigid water in their birthday suits.  I suppose it's good for bragging rights.  Maybe I should join in? NOT!  The Skinnydipper Recreation Club of Surrey, UK just had their annual Polar Bare dip at Crescent Beach.  I'm shivering here just watching it.
