70 year old Bob Meldrum was sunbathing nude at a beach on Meech Lake when more than six plain clothes police arrived in half a dozen cars to arrest him for being nude. Apparently they've tried this before to discourage the nude use of a public beach in an area known for nude use since 1930. The Canadian courts have struck down the arrests they've made in the past. Hmmm, must be a slow day for crime in Quebec. Well at least they protected the public from a dangerous 70 year old naked man. They are very brave.
