Holly Van Voast, an intrepid fighter for women's rights has won another round. This time it is against Boston's famed subway system, the MTA. She just won her court battle for riding an MTA train topless. The whole premise is, if it is legal for a man to remove his top in public than why not woman? Indeed. Go Holly. It seems that even when it is legal in areas women are unaware of their rights or are coerced against using their right to go topless. It is totally legal in the state of New York for a woman to go topless anywhere a man is permitted to go topless (which is pretty much everywhere). It is also legal in Austin, TX. for a woman to go topless.
